Some service providers have M2M SIM that is service provider independent connectivity which ensures better signal integrity even if it is deployed in forest. Amount little higher as I will design the product, develop the firmware and provide assistance till the product is fully functional. However, there's a small catch. As you have mentioned real time control so to achieve this you either need a server (can be taken from AWS) or computer with static IP. I has multiple inputs and outputs and a small display for user interface. The price is less than $100. It has relay outputs that can drive high current load for the contactors. - Regarding remote control. I suggest using an industrial grade cellular modem like Teltonika RUT240 ($250). There are two options of how to implement remote control via wireless - a desktop or Android app that would connect to the modem directly. This is not very safe solution and requires a static IP address which can be pricey. To improve security and avoid using a static IP, we can install a VPN service on a cloud and configure the modem to connect to it automatically.
