Stock Control / Order Spreadsheet / Database
I have a stock control spreadsheet, see attached. These details products and pricing and stock levels.
Every day I update this manually from a list of sales.
I want this to update automatically from a file of the sales. (No need to store the sales records though, I have this in another system for billing).
The product title of the sale does not always match the product title in the spreadsheet and there is no direct key. The upload process needs to use another list of “titles?? to products to make the match correctly. If the process doesn’t find a match it should prompt the user to choose which inventory item the sale is for. The process should then store this (e.g. learn it) for future uploads.
For each item we store the Item Title, Part number, Supplier Name, Stock On Hand, Stock On Order. Stock on hand can go negative if a sale completes when we have gone out of stock and waiting on a delivery.
1) Database with inventory
2) Upload from CSV file to update sales
3) Report of sales by day, month and year
4) Report of sales by product over day, month, year
5) Listing of Items with a low stock level (parameter)
6) Purchase Order Creation (automatic based on low stock level parameter) by Supplier
7) Purchase Order Tracking (date issued, date received)
8) Receipt of Delivery (Confirm receipt of new items and update stock level)
Coder will need to migrate the current spreadsheet when we are ready to go live as the numbers and products will have changed from the example attached.
