First... I know nothing about programing. I am creating a new Virtual School for a company in China. I want a "sound comparison meter". A recorded voice will say a word or phrase. The student repeats the word or phrase. The recorded voice is shown in a graph form in one color. The students attempts [live] are shown in a different color. When the two graphs match, the student is pronouncing the word correctly. Words and phrases are stored on lists and individual "word cards". Something SIMILAR to BYKI free or BYKI Deluxe. Program will run in a Cloud based LMS or will be able to be downloaded by students and installed on their computers. You must be able to select from different lists./cards. I would do this in Windows initially, but make it so that it will work in Linux later. It's going to require some software installed locally to get the audio signal.
