Microsoft Word Programming a Template

I wish to create a Microsoft Word template from an existing template I have. This new template would allow me to insert test by choosing a particular variable (text would then be automatically inserted) and following the choice a series of events (possibly marcro/VBA based) would occur, including inserting numbers and/or generic text into different parts of the document. I have attached a copy of the template in .pdf format, the sections requiring inputs will be limited in the first instance to those shown, i.e. sections E1 to E9, F1 to F9, G1 to G7, H1 to H3. Results from these sections being automatically inserted into sections at I1 to I4 and J1 to J4. So for example, I have a checkbox in section E1 and when checked it automatically inserts text into another section/s (which I'll provide to the Developer or preferably be able to insert into the code myself) , such as J1. Essentially I am trying to automate the functionality of the template so that I can tick a box (or similar functionality) in one section to automatically insert text into that section, whilst also then automatically inserting generic text into another section/s, such as the results sections at I1 to I4 and/or J1 to J4.
