Dear Bidder, we are looking for a Danish native speaker to translate a document with 2,805 words, and for checking 100 words already translated. The text contains tech related content (mainly names of tech specs for consumer electronics, and mobile apps). A lot of properties contain the same main text and require just changing proper names for each specific feature. The 100 words to be proofread just need to be checked to make sure that they are free of mistakes and they sound perfect in native Danish. We need somebody who can finish the project as soon as possible, in three days approximately after both parts accept the project. We will double-check with a second native translator, so only bid if you are a native speaker translating personally and manually and guarantee that you won't use any automatic translation or software helpers for the translation such as Google Translate. All kind of copyrights for the translation are going over to us. Why not actually choose a real native dane for this job, instead of imposters or reposters trying to skim the milk? I am a native Dane, born and raised in Roskilde, some 30 kms west of Copenhagen. I have participated in several translation projects, a few here on Freelancer as well as a couple of open source projects. During my training as a computer engineer, I also did quite a few translations of manuals for electronic components (english to danish as well as proof reading and correcting low-quality english to more correct english). I have vacation for the next few weeks, so I have all the time I need to translate and proof-read for you.

We are a small translations company, mainly consisting of International Post-Graduate Students and professional translators and we are located in Sweden. All our translators are natives, with at least a Bachelor's degree, 3 years of experience and at least 98% positive feedback from their previous freelance jobs. Hello My name is Torben, and I am a half-British, half-Danish translator. My mixed heritage not only means that I am completely bilingual, but that I have a solid understanding of both British and Danish culture, idioms and word use. This allows me to effectively convey both the meaning and the gist of my translations into the target language. I have several year's experience with translation work, and my portfolio includes outsourced work from translation companies and press articles for Danish academic institutes. My standard translation fee is $50 (ca. €36) per 1000 words, with proofreading being half that, so 2,805 words translated and 100 proofread would come out at €104. 1000 words usually takes me 2 hours to translate (and read over), so I should be able to handle the job in a day, two at most.
