Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to introduce myself: my name is Roberto, 42 years old, married; born in Brazil, Portuguese is, of course, my mother tongue. About twenty years ago and for almost six years, to make extra money while working as a system administrator and programmer, I started doing some tech editing/proofreading of books on computer science topics (published in English by houses such as Coriolis, NewRiders, and Pearson) or translated from English to Portuguese. Moreover, I myself wrote five pocketbooks on the same topics in Portuguese for Novatec Editora, a Brazilian publishing house.
